Large Professor Co-Signs New Album By Rapper Neek The Exotic

Allhiphop.com Reports:  New York City-based rap artist Neek the Exotic and legendary producer Large Professor recently hit the net to promote their new album, titled Still on The Hustle, which is due in stores this May via Fat Beats Distribution.

Neek the Exotic reminds his fans about his style, authenticity, and flavor that comes through clearly on the record, which was produced by the Large Professor, who has helped shape the careers of legendary rappers like Nas, Kool G. Rap, A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Busta Rhymes, Joell Ortiz and numerous others.

According to Large Professor and Neek, the producer's track record alone is proof that he wouldn't work on, or support any "candy apple sh**t."

The pair described Still on The Hustle as a distinct, authentic New York Hip-Hop album.

"You wanna be riding around with some ill s**t blastin'? This is it right here," Large Professor proclaimed. "My dude Neek goes crazy on the mic, man, spitting that ill hard shit, that for-real sh**t that everybody be thinking in their minds, but they don't say out loud and s**t."

Hip-Hop heads will recall Neek the Exotic as one of the rapper's on Main Source's #1 hit song "Fakin the Funk."

Over the years, he's worked with Large Professor on a variety of projects, including his debut release Exotic's Raw and his sophomore release, Exotic Species, which were all released independently.

“For me, it’s really been a hustle because I never got a [record] deal, so it was hard for me to come out and make noise like I wanted to,” Neek said in a press release.

Still on The Hustle features guest appearances by Lord Finesse, Joell Ortiz, Marco Polo, Carnage and Satchal Page and is due in stores on May 17th, 2011.
