What's Beef: EXCLUSIVE: SHOTS FIRED . . . SHOTS FIRED . . . LADY GAGA SETS OFF A FEUD WITH BEYONCE!! (EVIDENCE INSIDE)

Mediatakeout.com Reports: According to a TOP music industry insider Lady Gaga and her label Interscope are launching a full scale ATTACK on the queen of pop. The insider explains, "Lady Gaga is happy with her status [as the number one worldwide artist] and she's not looking to be number two."

The insider claims that there has been a good amount of Bad Blood between the two ladies since an unspecified falling out the two had earlier this year. The insider adds, "Lady Gaga doesn't see Beyonce as an artist - she doesn't play instruments, she doesn't write her songs, [in Lady Gaga's eyes] Beyonce's just an empty shell."

So Lady Gaga's people are starting a CAMPAIGN . . . to expose Beyonce. The snitch added, "[Lady Gaga] would like fans to know that she's a real musician and Beyonce is a dancer that has a nice voice."

And yesterday the FIRST SHOT in the battle was FIRED. Lady Gaga's record label INTERSCOPE paid for a Twitter ad. Whenever someone searched for the word "Beyonce" they were taken to Interscope's ad. The ad told fans that Bey's new song Girls was really a REMAKE of the Major Lazer song Pon The Floor. But here's teh KICKER . . . Interscope doesn't WORK or have ANY financial interest in Major Lazer's product.

Tells the insider,"The only reason Interscope is advertising for a song that they DON'T OWN, is because they want to expose Beyonce."

And the war begins . . . Bey, we're riding with YOU on this!!!

Rumors: Is Consequence Threatening Kanye West & Jay?

Allhiphop.com Reports: Consequence is continually creating a stir. The object of his scorn always seemed to be the homey Pusha T, but now it would seem that he's doing something far more sinister. The Queens rapper releases this video and will reportedly cause trouble for everybody in his former camp. On top of that, she says that he's going to go for "the crown" in the video. Jay-Z is in there and that makes me think he may go at Jay too. Check it out.

Gaming News: Beyonce Sued Over Canceled Game Project

1up.com Reports: Beyonce Knowles has been massively successful in a number of different realms, from music to acting to endorsements. She was to be involved with a new videogame based on her life before pulling out, a move that has led to her being sued by the game's would-be developer.
Gate Five LLC filed the lawsuit in New York on Tuesday. It alleges that Beyonce agreed to a deal last June for a game called Starpower: Beyonce before later demanding a new (and more more lucrative) deal that led to the company's business being "destroyed."
"In early December everything was still a go. And then the week of Christmas, she said that's it, I don't want to hear from you guys, go away, resulting in 70 people losing their jobs," said Gate Five founder Greg Easley in an interview, reports New York Magazine. "We'd much rather make a game than litigate. But we want to recover damages that Gate Five suffered."
The lawsuit itself notes, "Though she already negotiated lavish compensation terms to which she was contractually bound, Ms. Carter, at a crucial moment in the project's development, made an extortionate demand for entirely new compensation terms she suddenly decided she wanted." When that didn't work out, she decided to abandon the project. It continues, "Her actions were so unscrupulous that her then manager (who is also her father) renounced them" with a senior executive describing "her conduct as 'morally reprehensible'" in an email.
Beyonce had expressed interest in starring in a videogame during late 2009, so the notion of a game starring her doesn't completely come out of the blue.
Gate Five is seeking the $6.7 million it lost in investments as well as the "more than $100 million" it believes the game would have generated had Beyonce not decided to drop out.

Failed Rick Ross/Erykah Badu Concert Results In $50K Lawsuit

Allhiphop.com Reports: A failed concert that was supposed to feature rapper Rick Ross and R&B singer Erykah Badu during the Soul Train Music Awards has turned into a lawsuit.

While neither Rick Ross or Erykah Badu are named in the lawsuit, a concert that was supposed to feature the artists is what triggered the lawsuit.

Michael-Bryant Hicks and Eve Runyon filed the lawsuit against Tracey Pennywell and Penny in the Well Productions on April 26th.

The lawsuit was filed in The Superior Court of Fulton County for the State of Georgia.

According to Hicks and Runyon's lawsuit, Pennywell said she had entered into an agreement with the SoulTrain Productions to produce and promote a concert during the Soul Train Music Awards in November of 2010.

The lawsuit claims that Pennywell persuaded Hicks and company to invest $50,000 for the production of the concert.

Not long after signing a deal and receiving the funds, Pennywell and her company allegedly started abusing the investment on personal expenditures, nearly exhausting the finances.

The concert, which was supposed to feature Rick Ross and Erykah Badu, was to take place at the Atlanta Civic Center.

At the last minute, Pennywell changed the venue from the Atlantic Civic Center to Opera.

When Hicks and Runyon hit Opera to see how the event was going, they found out the artists were not performing and keeping their deposits.

When managers at Opera found out there would be no performances, they kicked Pennywell and her assistants out of the club.

SoulTrain ended up having to refund the cost of fans' tickets.

Hicks and Runyon seek to recover their initial investment of $50,000 a damages.

Odd Future's manager Chris Clancy confirmed the reports that ODD Future inked the deal, although the group's resident singer Frank Ocean, is signed to Def Jam.

"We kinda joke that they signed to themselves, but it's actually the truth," Chris Clancy told MTVNews. "The way it's working is Odd Future Records is an entity that will live on RED Distribution, which will be run and operated by Odd Future. That means in regards to releases, art, music, schedule, we're not bound to quarters and that type of stuff."

The new deal allows the group to operate an independent with major label backing, courtesy of Sony.

In May, Odd Future's leader, Tyler the Creator will drop his album Goblin, although that record will be released through XL Recordings under a previous deal.

Odd Future Records is currently mapping out a release schedule for all thirteen artists on the new imprint.
